As the coronavirus continues to spread, there are changes that need to take place to protect everyone. These changes are designed to allow the team at Pradem to continue supporting all clients.

In making these changes, our objectives were to:

  • Continue to provide our clients with reliable and quality accounting, advisory and tax services in a responsible and workable manner

 

  • Reduce the number of face to face meetings by moving to an online communication conference facility, such as Zoom.

 

  • Reduce the number of people coming into our office. This will also support three members of our staff with compromised immune systems due to chronic health conditions. They are in the high-risk category for catching coronavirus (and other illnesses).

 

  • Supporting our staff to work from home should this be required. Some staff already have children undertaking online schooling from home. If you wish to contact them, please ring the office and Liz will transfer your call to them (just as if everyone was still in the office in New Street).

How do we book a meeting?

Please ring our office and talk with Liz.  She will book you a time that suits our staff, and yours, best.  The meeting will still take place but in an online environment rather than being located physically in an office.

What about my year-end work?  What about my BAS work?  How will this be done?

Many of our clients now provide electronic copies of documents directly to a secure portal. If you require this service, please contact us and we can make arrangements to set up a secure online portal for you and your business.

Is the ATO offering any concessions in the current environment?

The ATO has started offering some payment concessions. We believe more information will be available over the coming weeks. As every situation differs, there is no simple answer.  Please ring us to discuss your specific needs and requirements.

My business is struggling.  My clients/customers are gone.  What can I do?

Ring us. We can help you find the best and most appropriate response and support you through these trying times. It is always better to seek help earlier, rather than later.  If you can foresee that the order book is drying up and sales are down – whilst you still have staff costs and other overheads to cover – we suggest you make plans quickly and early.
